CESTOS City, River Cess – Citizens of Rivercess County have lauded Senator Bill Twehway for what they describe as his pivotal role in transforming the county’s educational outcomes, following the official release of the 2025 WASSCE results.
According to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), all 125 candidates who sat the exams from Rivercess successfully passed, giving the county the highest percentage pass rate in Liberia.
The remarkable performance comes after a series of interventions by Senator Twehway aimed at improving student preparedness. These included cash donations to schools, providing past exam question booklets, and personally engaging students in extra classes where he taught and motivated candidates.
Citizens say these initiatives have restored confidence in the county’s educational system and set a new benchmark for academic excellence nationwide.
