Nimba County – In a powerful show of solidarity and inter-county collaboration, Hon. Augustine B. Chewolo, Representative of District #5 in Lofa County, has officially endorsed the senatorial bid of Hon. Samuel Kogar in District #7, Nimba County.
Speaking at a well-attended gathering(honoring of Hon. Cheiwolo and funding raising program) in Zoe Laupa Town, Hon. Chewolo described Hon. Kogar as “the best alternative to the problems facing Nimba County and believe that Hon. Kogar is his choice base of the transformative leadership style he possesses.” He called on courageous citizens across the Nimba county to vote massively for Hon. Kogar, citing his vision, experience, and commitment to inclusive development.
In recognition of his continued dedication to youth empowerment and national development, Hon. Chewolo was honored by the chiefs and eldes of Zoe Laupa Township for his numerous contributions—especially in creating job opportunities for Liberians, he contributions and the role he plays in buliding health facilities across Liberia and supporting youth-driven initiatives. During the event, he pledged a cash donation of L$100,000 to support the construction of a youth center in the town. It can be recorded that Hon. Augustine B. Cheiwolo has over twelve (12) health facilities in twelve (12) of the fifteen (15) counties in Liberia including Bong and Lofa counties. He was named “Saye Soleyea” Wich mean”THE FIRST BORN WITH A GOOD HEART” in the Mano dialect by the chiefs and eldes of Zoe-Laupa township, district 7, Nimba county.
The Lofa County lawmaker also commended the strong bond of unity among the people of Nimba, Lofa, and Bong counties. He called on citizens of the three regions to remain united, stressing that such solidarity is vital for peace, development, and the political transformation of Liberia.
The endorsement marks a significant boost to Hon. Kogar’s campaign as the 2025 senatorial by-election race heats up across Nimba County.
