Zorzor, Lofa County –The Cautioned Minded Citizens of Lofa County, a prominent grassroots political movement, have officially thrown their support behind Hon. Augustine B. Chiewolo for re-election in the 2029 General and Presidential Elections. The endorsement was announced during a well-attended ceremony in Zorzor and welcomed by Julius A. Saa, current secretary of the group.
In a formal statement signed by the group’s leadership, Chiewolo was praised as a "developmental agent" and “a true representation” of District #5. The endorsement was led by respected political figure Isaac R. Holder, who lauded Chiewolo’s leadership and development-driven track record.
“Hon. Chiewolo’s experience, humility, and development-oriented leadership have brought tangible growth across our district,” Holder stated. “Our endorsement is rooted in his consistent efforts to uplift the lives of our people—not in pursuit of personal gain or political favor.”
Among the achievements attributed to Chiewolo were advancements in human resource development, infrastructure expansion, healthcare delivery, and women empowerment initiatives.
The endorsement document was co-signed by Chairman Isaac R. Holder and Advisor Pa-James A. Dolo, signaling a united front in support of Chiewolo’s continued leadership. Holder also announced plans to establish a vocational training program for women and youth, focusing on soap making, bleach production, and other chemical-based skills to promote self-sufficiency.
This endorsement represents one of the earliest political declarations ahead of the 2029 legislative race in District #5, Lofa County, and may set the tone for a competitive electoral cycle.
Notably, the event also signaled Isaac Holder’s formal entry into the Lofa County political landscape. Originally from Bong County, Holder has been instrumental in the political ascent of several national figures, including Hon. Marvin Cole. He previously led Nenikpoma, a political pressure group active in District #5, chaired by Younger Cole, the wife of Rep. Marvin Cole.
With Holder’s involvement, political observers anticipate heightened engagement and strategic mobilization in Lofa’s upcoming election season.
