Speaker Koffa Approves LD$1.1m for Parluken Youth Center in Grand Kru

Grand Kru County District #2 Representative, Speaker Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, has approved the funding for a new Youth Center in Parluken, Forpoh Statutory District, Grand Kru County. The project, which is set to cost LD$1.1 million, is a significant investment in the region’s youth infrastructure.
The approval for the Youth Center came after Speaker Koffa held a meeting with the leadership of the Parluken Youth Development Association. The delegation, led by President Congress Wleh, met with Koffa on Capitol Hill to discuss the plans and needs of the youth in Forpoh District.
The proposed Youth Center will feature two offices, two bathrooms designated for males and females, and a spacious meeting area. This facility is intended to serve as a hub for various youth activities and community gatherings, fostering development and engagement among the youth in Forpoh.
Forpoh Statutory District, which is the fourth most populous district in Grand Kru County District #2, stands to benefit greatly from this development. The new Youth Center aims to provide a safe and structured environment for the young people of the area, promoting positive growth and opportunities.
